Jim Finger has been involved in the poultry industry for 35 years and in that time has collected a lot of literature on poultry. This generated a requirement for conservation of the collection and reproduction of selected historically important documents. This generated the desire to be able to do this work himself, and the desire to learn led to his involvement in the Guild. Jim doubles at present as the web master.

Debra Parry is a conservator specializing in paper, photographs and books. Debra has worked for five years as a conservator at the National Archives where she worked on a range of large and small volumes among other items. This year she has set up her own business, Melbourne Conservation Services.

Robert Ford is a culinary consultant with an interest in cooking literature leading to ownership of a bookshop and book restoration business, ReboundTXT in Seddon.

Mary Russell is a professional indexer, trained librarian, and our librarian. She has been fortunate to travel recently to England to participate in short courses on leather bindings and is participating in the RMIT short courses on book binding.
